Protimeter plc is part of GE Industrial. As a business in its own right, Protimeter produce instruments for measuring moisture and temperature in materials and environments. The primary markets for these products are in the building, wood, agriculture and civil engineering sectors. Building surveyors use Protimeter moisture meters and hygrometers to measure moisture levels in buildings and to diagnose the cause of dampness related problems. Farmers measure the moisture and temperature levels in harvested crops using our grain moisture meters and civil engineers use the Ashworth Instrumentation Speedy™ moisture testers for establishing the moisture level in soils.
